welcome home wesley / hansen family

Alyssa & Josh invited me over on a sunny, September afternoon to capture some images of their sweet new baby at home. I was so excited for this session but more-so to meet little Wesley for the first time! Alyssa and I have been friends as long as I can remember and I’m so thankful that she trusted me to capture these special memories.

I cannot encourage you enough to capture images of your baby’s little feet, ears, and hands before they are a month old! They grow so quickly and you will want to remember all these tiny details!

One of the reasons I love doing newborn sessions at home is because it provides an opportunity to capture elements that are unique to your home and make the shoot feel even more personal! In this case we spent the majority of our time right in Wesley’s nursery. I couldn’t help but snap a few pics of the details Josh and Alyssa incorporated into Wesley’s safari themed room.

Alyssa and Josh! It’s hard to believe that you have a baby (it feels like just yesterday we were all in high school together), but when I see you with Wesley I can tell you are such amazing parents! I love your little family and can’t wait to visit again soon!
