grand rapids, intimate wedding / marissa + brian
Marissa and Brian were married on an overcast, Saturday in early October. Their reception was postponed due to COVID restrictions, but this sweet couple did not want to delay their wedding day! October 3, 2020 was their 6th anniversary and they wanted to make it their wedding anniversary as well!
I loved the elements in Marissa’s bouquet. It was simple and clean, but also felt like fall with the addition of the berries and succulents.
Following the ceremony we captured a few photos of Brian and Marissa with their wedding party. One of the things I appreciated about this wedding was the simplicity. Everything about this day was clearly centered around just getting married! Their friends still stood up with them and were an important part of their day, but they did not wear fancy gowns or cling to elaborate floral arrangements. Everyone was just there in their Sunday best to support Brian and Marissa in their marriage.
Before the newlyweds took off to celebrate over dinner with their family and friends, we captured just a few pictures of the two of them. These images really speak for themselves! Brian and Marissa just radiate joy, and I loved getting to snap a few images of them to remember this day forever.
Marissa and Brian, congratulations again on your marriage. Wishing you both a lifetime of happy, October 3rd anniversaries.
