fall in the mitten, sunny october session / kristen

We’ve been fortunate to have had a week straight of warm temps and sunshine here in West Michigan. As we move further into fall, it’s difficult not to take advantage of these beautiful sunny evenings while we still have them! Kristen and I ventured out to a park just North of Grand Rapids and scouted some new field locations for future shoots. She has been roped in to countless shoots over the years and is always down to try something new! I’m so thankful to have a very photogenic sister, who is always down to model for me.

I was obsessed with this image from our shoot. I am a sucker for shots that capture movement, and the way the light was hitting her curls in this one just killed me. Kristen gave me a bit of a hard time that my favorite shot or her was an out of focus, image of her turned away from the camera, but I don’t even care! It’s so good!
