summertime family session / daniels family

I don’t often do family photo sessions, but for this group I would do just about anything! We shot on some land owned by the family and it was such a dream location! I loved how pond in the back reflected the sun throughout our session!

Icecream was definitely used as a bribe during this shoot, but honestly for the majority of the session the kiddos were super well behaved and attentive. To get the cute headshots we made it a competition to see who could show me the best smile and then best silly face. Getting the kids to switch rapidly between the two gave us lots of natural giggles and smiles! We wrapped up by capturing a few images of just Mom and Dad (because cute pics of you and your person shouldn’t disappear after kiddos arrive!!)
